Job Description:
BOS Natural Flavors, is seeking a creative and analytical R&D Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food science and technology, a passion for innovation, and the ability to develop new and improved flavor products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development: Lead the development of new natural flavor products from concept to commercialization, ensuring they meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in food science and flavor technology to drive innovation and maintain the company’s competitive edge.
- Formulation: Develop and optimize formulations for new products, ensuring stability, consistency, and scalability.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
- Sensory Evaluation: Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing to assess product performance and acceptability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all research and development activities, including formulations, processes, and test results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, production, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and align R & D activities with business objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant food safety and regulatory standards.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in research and development, preferably within the food industry.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of food science principles and flavor chemistry.
- Hands-on experience with product formulation and development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
